A Placemaking PODCAST
The idea for this podcast emerged as part of the Internal Creative Placemaking research and Summary Project Ana conducted in 2019. Since then, the significant impact, opportunities, and challenges of placemaking have taken even deeper root, as Ana continues to explore and establish it as the core guiding principle of the leadership and management approach of Broadway Square (Fargo, ND), under her direction since it’s opening in 2020.
ANCP is generating a podcast plan that includes some of the big names of Placemaking and Creative Placemaking, as well as leaders of professional arts organizations in Seattle, Chicago, Austin, and Fargo. Monthly episodes will initiate listeners into the world of placemaking, why the creative arts and community engagement play such an important role in these efforts, and how these same pillars of community development should be applied internally within professional arts organizations to help foster adaptive, supportive, innovative, and resilient work forces to produce and present meaningful art.
