Cityscapes: CHICAGO

The birthplace and inspiration of my Cityscapes series, Chicago’s rich urban spirit of survival and history captured my storyteller’s heart…and the focus of my camera lens. I have been photographing the magic and rawness of Chicago and its surrounding neighborhoods since pre-2000.

The historic architecture, full of haunting tales and representative of significant personalities, envelops the crowds of commuters, tourists, pedestrians, and rider of the el every day.

Rich stories from the past, offered up illusive and haunting images, an interpretive canvas for artists from which to draw relevance, inspiration, and perspective…as well as hauntingly composed images.
